From booking a tour to attending an orientation day and your child’s first day, we make the process of settling in as comfortable as possible.

Note: If you have not already applied for a childcare subsidy, please follow the link at the bottom of this page to begin this process. If your child commences care before your family’s childcare subsidy is approved, you will be required to pay the full fees for your bookings.

1. Book a Tour

Phone or email to book a tour of one of our services, this provides families with a one-on-one opportunity to walk through our environments, meet our educators and observe our teaching practices. It is essential that you and your child feel a sense of belonging and comfort in your choice of early education and care, therefore we encourage families to ask as many questions as needed and to bring their child/ren with them to tour our facilities also.

2. Complete Enrolment Forms

Prior to commencing at our service we are required to have all your enrolment form documentation completed, this includes an updated immunisation statement and a copy of your child/ren’s birth certificate.

3. Attend Orientation

Before commencing your child/ren’s first day, each child will attend an orientation session, this provides children with an opportunity to get to know their educators and feel comfortable in their new learning environment. During this time children and families are encouraged to share any important information with your child’s educators that may help the transition to care be a smooth and enjoyable experience. Any enrolment or booking finalisations will also be completed during this time.

4. Get started

On your first day you will be welcomed by your child’s educators, during the settling-in process we encourage families to stay for as long as is needed to support your child in feeling confident to say goodbye. We encourage children to bring a comfort item from home if they have one as this provides children with something familiar as they become confident in their new surroundings. Families are encouraged to get in contact with us if they wish to find out how their child is settling into care.

Have you applied for Child Care Subsidy?

Child care subsidy (CCS) is a payment provided by the Government to support families with the cost of childcare fees. Families, carers, and grandparents with children in an approved child care service and that meet certain requirements are able to apply for the subsidy online via the service Australia website.

The amount of childcare subsidy that you will receive is dependent upon:

  • Your family’s combined income
  • Your family combined fortnightly activity level (how many hours your family work, study or volunteer)
  • The fee’s charged by the childcare service
